A field guide to Donut Place

DONUT PLACE, READ OFF THE CLIENT

Donut Place is a browser shop simulator by GMR Bros.: you serve donuts, seat customers, and grow a shop that starts almost empty. This site records what the build itself shows — prices, prompts, meters — and says plainly where we have not looked yet.

400cash at the start

The floor of a donut shop: customers queue along the left wall towards a curved counter, two customers sit at tables, and a tall stack of donuts stands on the counter.
What this shows the whole loop in one frame — a queue, a counter, seating, and the floor space the game expects you to fill. Captured 2026-11-05 Client web build 2026-11-05 Planche 1

What this game is

Donut Place runs in a browser tab rather than as a download. Its portal page lists Browser (desktop, mobile, tablet) plus a CrazyGames app, a Unity 6 build, and a May 2026 release. You begin outside the shop with 400 in cash, walk in, and the game talks you through the first minute: move, buy a table, hire someone, serve the queue.

It is not the Steam game with an almost identical name — that one is a first-person supermarket, paid, from a different studio. The two are separated here because search results mix them.

What we measured, and when

We played the browser build once, on 2026-11-05, with the screen captured while it ran. Everything carrying a TESTED mark comes from that session:

That list is short on purpose. We have not measured what a donut sells for, how the progress meter is earned, whether a day ends, or what a save keeps when the tab closes.

Why the figures are quoted, not rounded

A tag in the corner of a shop is not a price list. The two we could read were 125 for a table and 120 for the HR room; anything else would be a guess wearing a number. Where a figure matters and we do not have it, the page says so rather than filling the gap.

What this site is not

Not an official site: GMR Bros. and CrazyGames have no connection to it. Not a transcript of the game's own tutorial beyond the short prompts quoted above. And not a promise that a price seen on 2026-11-05 is a price today — a build that changed in October can change again.

What comes next

The open list lives on the method page: shop income, what the progress meter rewards, seating arithmetic, and the corners of the interface we have not opened. If you have played further than we have, the contact page exists for exactly that.
