A field guide to Donut Place

SOURCES

This site has four sources, and it is worth knowing which one a sentence came from before you trust it.

A corner of the shop with an HR sign above a doorway, a green TRASH bin against the wall, and a floating price tag reading 120.
What this shows the kind of detail only the client carries: a room called HR, a bin, and a price tag standing in the room rather than in a list. Captured 2026-11-05 Client web build 2026-11-05 Planche 1

1. The portal page

crazygames.com/game/donut-place is where the game is published, and it is the only page we treat as official. On 2026-11-05 it said:

Those lines are repeated, not measured. The portal does not publish play counts, country splits, or a build version, so none of those appear on this site.

2. The build itself

The game is a Unity 6 WebGL build served inside the portal page. Everything the client prints — price tags, prompts, meters — is a source of a different kind: it is what the player actually sees, and it is the reason a page can say a table costs 125 instead of "about a hundred".

The build gives no version string that we could find. Where this site wants to say "as of", it uses the date of the capture instead.

3. Our capture log

One session, 2026-11-05, recorded to disk while we played. Frames are kept so that a claim can be traced to a picture rather than to memory. The log records the time each frame was taken, which is how the site knows, for example, that the progress meter reached 9.09% about two minutes in rather than "early".

4. The developer

GMR Bros. publishes the game; we have not found a documentation page from them for this title. If one appears, it becomes a fifth source and the page above gains a line.

What is deliberately absent

No other guide is quoted, because at the time of writing we found none for this build — the search results for the name belong to other games. No wiki is scraped. No numbers are inferred from screenshots of other people's videos.
